If you continue to use the App after we change the Effective Date, you agree to our change to the Privacy Policy.

This policy also covers our SMS messaging program. Changes to this policy don’t independently establish consent to receive SMS messages or waive applicable legal rights.

  6. To update you on our services or the services of third parties.

The SMS-specific restrictions below apply regardless of the general uses listed above.

We use the phone number provided for our SMS program only to send requested SMS messages and related service updates.

These messages include customer-support responses, laundry order updates, pickup and delivery coordination, and order-ready notifications.

We use SMS consent records to document your permission and honor your messaging preferences. We use message content to respond to your requests and provide related service support.

We send SMS program messages only after obtaining your consent. This program doesn’t include marketing or promotional messages.

How do you store this information?

The Newington Laundromat stores and processes your personal and personally identifiable information on computers located within the United States. Nothing in this policy waives privacy rights or protections available under applicable law.

We use commercially standard technology to help protect against the unauthorized disclosure of your personal and personally identifiable information, including encryption.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access, use, or sharing of user data.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. This limitation doesn’t waive your rights or our legal obligations.

We don’t sell or share SMS consent or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

We limit service-provider processing to information necessary to deliver services you request, including order administration, payment processing, and requested SMS messages.

We don’t authorize service providers to use this information for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.

SMS consent records aren’t sold or disclosed for independent third-party use. Any processing of these records is limited to administering requested messaging and consent preferences.

Except for this limited service-provider processing, we don’t transfer consumer data to external organizations for any purpose unless strictly required by law.

A request from a government authority doesn’t independently authorize disclosure unless disclosure is legally required.

General customer consent, business affiliations, or changes in business ownership don’t independently authorize additional sharing under this policy.

These restrictions apply throughout this policy and replace the broader sharing permissions in earlier versions.

After you send STOP, we’ll send a text confirming that you’ve unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you won’t receive further SMS program messages from us.
